How to choose your aeration kit?
- The volume of the pond: the Secoh MKC and JDK kits are designed for 1 to 10 m³ and 10 to 20 m³ respectively.
- The airflow, indicated in litres per minute on Hiblow, Secoh, FujiMAC and Nitto pumps.
- The technology: diaphragm pump for continuous operation, piston pump such as the Nitto Medo LA-45.
- Winter use: a diffuser placed at a shallow depth maintains an opening in the ice.
Aquiflor's advice

Quelle pompe à air choisir pour mon bassin ?
Partez du volume d'eau : les kits Secoh sont indiqués par plage, par exemple de 1 à 10 m³ ou de 10 à 20 m³. Pour un grand étang naturel, un aérateur de surface ou un émulseur est souvent plus adapté.
Faut-il laisser la pompe à air tourner la nuit ?
Oui, surtout en été : l'oxygène dissous est au plus bas en fin de nuit. Les pompes à air à membrane, comme Secoh ou Hiblow, sont conçues pour fonctionner en continu.
Où placer le diffuseur d'air en hiver ?
Près de la surface plutôt qu'au fond : un diffuseur au fond brasserait l'eau plus chaude où se reposent les poissons. Placé haut, il aide à garder une ouverture dans la glace.
