These protective nets for garden ponds and pools prevent dead leaves from falling into the water and keep predators such as herons at bay. They are available in several sizes, with pegs or eyelets.
How to choose your net?
- Dimensions: measure the surface area of the pond and add a margin on each side; sizes range from 2 x 3 m to 6 x 10 m.
- Fixing: Oase Aquanet comes with pegs (3 x 4, 4 x 8 or 6 x 10 m), Velda CoverNet and Aquitechnics nets come with eyelets.
- Use: a net stretched over the water is enough against leaves; against herons, it must cover the entire surface and the banks.
- Pump: a protective net for the pump limits its clogging.
Aquiflor's advice
Install the net before the leaves fall, in autumn, and empty it regularly: leaves soaking in the water release organic matter. Keep it taut enough so that it does not touch the surface. For an irregularly shaped pond, our team will help you choose the size at 010 86 03 54 or in the store in Nodebais.
