Flexible rubber couplings connect two pipes or two filtration components without the need for gluing. Secured with stainless steel clamps, they are easy to disassemble and absorb minor misalignments and pump vibrations.
How to choose your coupling?
- Straight sleeves: for connecting two pipes of the same diameter (Koi Pro from 40 to 110 mm).
- Reducers: for changing from one diameter to another, for example 110/63 or 135/110 mm.
- Elbows, tees and end caps: to change direction, create a branch or close an outlet.
- The actual outside diameter of the pipes to be connected: this is what determines the size of the coupling.
Aquiflor's advice
Measure the diameter with a caliper rather than relying on the pipe label, and plan for a removable coupling before and after each device to facilitate maintenance.
