A filtration kit combines a filter, pump and, depending on the model, a UV-C clarifier and hoses, all sized together. It allows you to equip a pond or lake with a single order, without compatibility issues.
How to choose your filtration kit?
- The water volume, in m³: the pump must circulate the entire volume in 2 hours, or in 1 hour if you have koi.
- Gravity or pressure: Oase BioSmart Sets (5000 to 36000) are gravity-fed; FiltoClear, BioPress, TopClear and PondoPress Sets operate under pressure, and the filtered water can feed a waterfall.
- Large volumes: BioTec ScreenMatic² Sets 40000, 60000 and 90000.
- The number of fish, the amount of sunlight, the quantity of plants and the space available to hide the filter.
Aquiflor's advice
If in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger kit. For the maintenance or repair of an Oase kit, our official Oase and Secoh repair workshop welcomes you in Nodebais, and our team answers your sizing questions at 010 86 03 54.
