UV-C Bulbs & UV Lamps for Ponds

This collection includes replacement UV-C bulbs for pond clarifiers from Philips, Superfish, Air-Aqua, Aquaforte, BIO-UV, Pondtechnics and Ubbink. A worn-out bulb is no longer effective against green water.

How to choose your UV-C bulb?

• The wattage, which must match the original: from 30 to 102 W for BIO-UV models, for example.
• The bulb type: PL, PL-L, TL T5 or amalgam.
• The length and base, to be compared with the old bulb.
• The device concerned: many product sheets indicate the compatible model (KoiPro UVC 75000, VS 25-50-75, Viviopress 40.000).

Aquiflor's advice

A UV-C bulb may still light up even though its radiation has weakened: note down the date it was put into service and check it every season. UV-C helps limit suspended algae, complementing filtration.
